Accent Improvement and Pronunciation

You may have studied English for years, or even live in England, but your native language influences your accent and other people may not always understand what you say, or take you less seriously. Very few English teachers have the specialised knowledge of Phonetics that is necessary to change how you speak so that you sound more English.

I wrote a short article to explain some of what this involves.

Elocution and Public Speaking

If you are a native English speaker, I am not going to criticise the way you speak. However, some people feel that the way they talk is a hindrance to promotion. I can help you speak with a more neutral RP accent. I can also advise about public speaking, so that you give a better impression and communicate more effectively.
